Update
The 2015 PMC was a great success!
With your help, I raised $5,632!
Overall, the 6020 riders and 4000 volunteers raised $45 million.
This brings the PMC's grand fundraising total to over $500 million— with every rider-raised dollar going directly to support cancer research.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who have sponsored me year after year.
Thank you, and God bless

Dear friends,
Welcome to the 2015 Pan Mass Challenge! Hope this letter finds you all in good health.
PMC 2014 was a great success, I reached my goal and raised $4,306. Thank you all so much for your continued support! Overall about 5,000 riders and 2,000 volunteers raised over $41 million, one hundred percent of which goes directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
The weather for PMC 2014 was the worst I have ridden in so far— a cool August day, 60-63 degrees and a torrential downpour for the entire 11 hours. For the 2015 ride, the weather can only get better!
PMC 2015 will be my sixteenth ride, with my pledges for the last 15 years totalling over $48,000. I am honored to once again be riding for Lukas, my Pedal Partner from 2014. I am not allowed to discuss his condition, but I do know that he has his hair back! Your donations support his lifesaving treatment and enable the Dana-Farber Institute to continue their vital research.
Everyone involved with PMC is truly committed to the cause of helping others. Fundraising is as great a challenge as completing the ride. I also face a challenge in my own life— this year is the second I will be riding with a prognosis of prostate cancer.
When I first heard the words 'you have cancer', I admit I was scared. But I am now a patient of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute myself, and with the help of their expert team I will beat this disease! I see with my own eyes how the staff are dedicating their lives and careers to creating a cancer-free world. Early detection means my outlook is very good, thank God. I hope you will keep me in your prayers, as you, my friends, are in mine.
I am truly blessed to have friends like you, who have sponsored and supported me through all my past PMC rides. As always I would be honored to wear a jersey bearing the names of your loved ones who have experienced their own battle with cancer. If you have new names, please feel free to send them my way— they’ll find a place on my jersey and in my prayers. I will hold them close to my heart when I ride, and I hope you will join me in spirit on my journey.
Thank you, and God bless,
