Some stats for 2017’s ride:
- 105,308 riders
- 64,044 volunteers
- $598,000,000 in donations
$6,025!!
Can't wait to do it all again in 2018!
Dear Friends
Another year has come and gone!
It's 2017, and time again for the Pan-Mass Challenge!
I want to thank all of my current and past sponsors for their continued love, compassion, and financial support. In 2016, I raised $5312, joining 6000 other cyclists and thousands of volunteers and sponsors on the 111-mile ride from Sturbridge to Bourne, MA. In the end, $47 million was donated to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for life saving treatment and research. What a success!
To celebrate my 60th birthday, I have made the commitment again this year to ride in my 18th PMC— 192 miles from Sturbridge to the end of Cape Cod. My personal goal is to raise $7,500.
The world is forever changing, but The Beatles had it right when they wrote “All You Need Is Love” . Love— it's what makes the world go around! We celebrate love in thousands of ways. Do you remember, as a child, celebrating Valentine's Day by passing out cards— always hoping to get back a card from that special someone? To me this PMC letter is my symbol of love, which I am sending to you. You are that special someone that I am hoping to hear from.
If you find it in your heart to sponsor my ride, you can donate online, or by sending a check (payable to the Pan-Mass Challenge or the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute).
If you’d like more information on the PMC, you can visit my About page, or their website at pmc.org.
Even if you’re unable to contribute this year, I invite you to forward the names of your loved ones who have faced the challenge of living with cancer— I will include their names on my riding jersey and holds them close to my heart as I ride.

I’m also on Facebook, so add me as a friend and say hello!
