Update!
In 2016, I raised $5312, joining 6000 other cyclists and thousands of volunteers and sponsors on the 111-mile ride from Sturbridge to Bourne, MA. In the end, $47 million was donated to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, for life saving treatment and research. What a success!
Dear Friends
On the road again!
Welcome to the 2016 Pan-Mass Challenge!
The 2015 PMC was a great success, with 5,755 riders and 3,500 volunteers collecting an amazing $45 million. I personally managed to collect $5,632, and I want to thank you all so much for your continued support! Since 1980 an astonishing $500 million has been donated directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for lifesaving cancer treatment and research.
I am excited and honored to be signed up to do this ride for the 17th time. This year, I will be doing the one-day ride of 111 miles from Sturbridge, MA to Bourne, MA. My minimum fundraising goal is $3,700. I am also going to participate in the Pedal Partner program again this year, which will pair me up with a child currently in treatment at Dana-Farber in Boston.
The PMC gives me an opportunity to join with others in forming a ‘culture of commitment’.
According the Billy Star, founder of the PMC--
Together we are bringing a world without cancer closer by the mile.
I am truly blessed to have friends like you, who have sponsored and supported me through all my past PMC rides. As always, I would be honored to wear the names of your loved ones who have battled cancer. Send them my way— they’ll find a place on my PMC jersey and in my prayers.
If you wish to sponsor me, you can Donate online, or by sending a check, payable to the Pan-Mass Challenge or the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
If you’d like more information on the PMC, you can visit my About page, or their website at pmc.org.
I’m also on Facebook, so add me as a friend and say hello!
Thank you, and God bless,
